This weekend not only marks the start of the inaugural league fixtures for our 1st XV and 2nd XV but by tradition now marks the date for the Dave Goodenough Shield!

It's been 3 years now since the club legend that is David ‘Goose’ Goodenough sadly passed away and since then, the Goodenough family have kindly donated a shield to be played for on the first home league fixture of the start of each season.

Last year Chiswick 1st XV played Hitchin RFC beating them marginally 22-17. This year Hitchin coincidently again are the opposition in what will definitely be a fantastic match!

Kick off is 3pm with a Presidents lunch taking place beforehand.

2nd XV play Wasps IIs at 12.30.
