The Dukes Meadows Development Plan (DMDP), which included a 50 years lease for CRFC, and the ongoing development of our facilities , including clubhouse extensions and the RFU AGP, and which received planning consent in 2018, was created by, and driven by Steve. His support in granting our new lease, and in endeavouring to help CRFC deliver the rugby element of the DMDP was invaluable, and for that we shall forever be grateful.

In many ways, he was an extraordinary character, a rugby man with a great sense of humour, and an unquenchable desire to do good and to make a difference. He was very generous with his time including many occasions when he met with myself, Steve Kick, and Kelvin (whether it was formally, or informally over a beer or a coffee) to explore the challenges and solutions for the way ahead.

Steve, CRFC pays tribute to you, and gives thanks for all you did for us and the community of Chiswick.
