Following two years of preparation we can formally announce that Chiswick Rugby will enter a CHISWICK WOMEN’S team in league rugby for NEXT season.

The nucleus of our side is formed by the merging of two University Sunday sides (with full University support) - KCL and GKT Women’s - who will reform as one under the banner of CHISWICK WOMEN’S.

Wonderful to note that the enthusiasm for and engagement with all ongoing at Chiswick Rugby amongst the group, is infectious!

The net will then be cast wider and the aim is to establish and hopefully flourish in the years ahead, while providing support and pathway to Chiswick Junior Girls.

To CELEBRATE this really exciting step for our Club - CHISWICK WOMEN’S will play our FIRST EVER game on 21st March - Family Day!

Thanks to all who commented on the Planning Portal - it mattered and we’re delighted to report our application was APPROVED on Friday 27th Feb.

Now it’s time to crack on - a bit more paperwork then the build.

We will update further over time (post paperwork) but suffice to say we envisage this exciting addition to our Multisport & Activity Community Vision will underpin Chiswick Rugby for many, many years ahead.

Last week’s Friday Night Lights Charity Game was a big success with 300+ down to enjoy a wonderful evening (and a Chiswick victory 38-28) in the first ever Tyrwhitt Cup – in aid of Grassroots Rugby and Mental Health Awareness.
